Solid upgrade
I consider this as a definite upgrade to my stainless pro raptor. Replaced old bushing with new one and after shooting and cleaning several times bushing still looks like new. Made disassembly and reassembly soooo much easier. 5 stars!

Why???
OK, this requires you to keep track of two things that if lost requires replacement when a paperclip does what the included OEM "Takedown Tool" shipped with the gun can work in a snap. So you're replacing parts with modified OEM parts to further complicate take-down. Oh and what they fail to realize is that the picture they themselves are using to demonstrate with has no bushing. Pro models have bushing-less Bull-Barrels that lock-up with the frame-slide... Oh and "Damage to the finish" is laughable. What do you think?? Kimber using the same low-quality soft alloy steels commonly found in paperclips??? Really?? Not very smart. LOL!!!! It would be different if it was something that you installed once and was done. Nothing to add or subtract to "-" Ease the process... Another company has a replacement guide-rod with a spring-loaded lever the you press that tilts out to capture the slide in take-down mode. Nothing to keep with you as it's permanently installed.

NDZ take down tool kit for Kimber 4" CDP II
This is a must for every 4" Kimber owner. The ease with take down and to reassemble the weapon is like the difference between day and night from the stock tool.

NDZ Take Down Tool Kit Kimber 4" Pro
This is the essential kit for a Kimber owner. I had the guide rod installed on the Pro Carry II I traded for an AR15 a year ago and wish I had kept it. I traded my AR for another Kimber Pro Carry II two weeks ago and ordered my new Pro Series takedown tool kit from NDZ before my new Kimber came in and have installed it before even shooting the new gun, that is how important I think this kit is. It makes disassembly very simple and should be considered as a factor option. All Kimber owners should have this kit!
