I ordered a couple because I lost the original one. If you've ever worked on the safety, you know how small that ball is and how easy it is to lose. Shipping was fast and the ball was packed in a way you couldn't lose it.

When I bought the NDZ Enhanced Safety for my 20 gauge shockwave, I ordered an extra detent ball just in case parts flew everywhere when I removed the original safety. Turned out, the spring and ball stayed in place when I eased off the original safety. For just $2.00, it’s worth it to have a spare.

Safety Detent Ball
I did a total cleaning of my 500 and my safety detent ball vanished. Replaced it with NDZ ball, now safety works smoother then new.
