The modest +10% force improves follower travel and presentation so rounds feed reliably from short magazines with extensions—without jumping to an aggressive spring that overstresses followers or feed lips. ISMI springs are built from aerospace-grade chrome-silicon, then heat-treated, shot-peened and stress-relieved for racing-grade durability and consistent spring rate under heavy cycling.
