The additional space allows your lower finger to fit more comfortably while gripping the gun. The textured front of the plate helps guides the finger into place for a secure grip while firing, which helps reduce muzzle flip and increases overall performance. These plates do not alter the capacity of the magazine. This product replaces the stock floor plate & retains all other factory components. Anodized colors may vary slightly from what is pictured.
