Pearce Grip Magazine Base Plate Extension for Smith & Wesson M&P Shield EZ .38
This magazine extension replaces the base plate on the single stack M&P .38 Shield EZ. This extension does not alter the capacity of the magazine. It adds approximately 1/2" inch additional gripping surface with enhanced ergonomics. This only fits .38 ACP models. The purpose of a grip extension is to increase the overall length of the mag for a more natural hold. A lot of times, magazine extensions will also have texture or stippling for better accuracy. The additional weight to the bottom of the magazine from a base plate is welcomed when you need that mag to drop free.
