All NDZ PDP base plates retain factory magazine capacity, including the extended versions.
Standard or Extended Base Plates?
Start by comparing the plate’s shape. Standard base plates provide a replacement profile for the bottom of your magazine. Extended versions offer additional surface area for grasping and handling the magazine. In this selection, “extended” describes the plate’s profile; it does not mean additional ammunition capacity. Aspis Cut styles provide another design choice in both standard and extended configurations.
Choose Aluminum or Brass
NDZ aluminum PDP magazine plates feature anodized finishes for a custom color combination. Brass versions offer a heavier material option with Cerakote finishes. Compare the material, profile, and available finish on the individual listing to choose the plate that suits your preferences.
Confirm Your Magazine Fitment
Match the base plate to your magazine before ordering. The NDZ Extended Magazine Base Plate, PDP-MPX-V, and Brass Magazine Base Plate, PDP-MP-BRS-V, are listed for PDP 15- and 18-round magazines and exclude 10- and 20-round magazines. Review the exact fitment information for each design rather than assuming every PDP magazine uses the same plate.
If your pistol has a factory or aftermarket magwell, confirm compatibility with that specific setup before purchasing. Magazine compatibility alone does not establish clearance with every magwell.

It comes down to weight and finish. Aluminum plates are color anodized in choices such as Black, Silver, Red and Gold. Solid brass plates add weight at the bottom of the magazine and come in a plain machined finish or Cerakote colors. Both materials come in standard and extended profiles.
Aspis Cut is NDZ's signature machined design. You can get it in aluminum or brass, in both the standard and extended base plate profiles. The Aspis Cut plates are not offered with laser engraving.
Yes. The standard and extended plates marked (*LZ), in aluminum or brass, can be laser engraved with a design from the NDZ image library. The engraving is not a decal or painted on, and an optional paint fill color can be added to it.
