Highly recommend you give them a shot
The Ameriglo tritium sights with dot over dot sighting has quickly become my favorite sights. I prefer them over the two rear side-by-side dot sighting system. When I practice quick sight acquisition drills, they are faster for me to align on target and requires gradual vertical fine adjustments to perfectly sight in. I prefer this over the fine side ways movements needed for the traditional three dot sights. The steel machining is top quality and the installation isn't overly tight like some other brands. It is sufficiently tight to prevent accidently movement, but there is no scraping and mild shaving that some other brands that I have used in the past. Additionally the front sight high contrast rings are extremely easy to see/use in the daylight, whereas others are less distinct. The pricing is substantially less. This might mean they use less tritium and may not stay as bright for as long, but that is merely speculation. They are not overly bright and do not show up at night by causing reflections on the slide, but bright enough to pick them up easily in the dark. I am going to sticking with Ameriglo for the foreseeable future. I highly recommend you give them a shot!
