Tight tolerance - could not install

Product looks great but I could not for the life of me get the spring to lock into the mag release. The slot width was too tight and the spring would not go past the opening and sit in the slot. Now I have a $40 sliver of aluminum. This was for my Gen 3 Polymer 80 G17. Don’t know if that matters since other after market parts have fit without issue.
