Our Billet Aluminum Recoil Spring Plug replaces the factory plug, with our inside pocket profile CNC machined just like the factory profile for 100% direct fit, then the image is laser engraved onto the Recoil Spring Plug to give your 1911 a custom look.

This product will only work with "Short" Guide rod & springs. Full-length Solid-Body Guide Rods require the end cap to be open, allowing the slide to pass through since it does not compress like a spring. Otherwise, the guide rod would smash into the cap and jam up your gun.

Manufactured to Exact Tolerances from 6061 T6 Aircraft Billet Aluminum and Mil-Spec "Military Specification" Hard-coat Anodized for Extreme Durability; will not chip or break.
