This forward-positioned slide release solves two common issues for shooters using the modern "thumbs forward" grip, particularly those with larger hands:

1. Prevents accidental upward pressure that locks the slide open while ammo remains in the pistol.
2. Prevents downward pressure that stops the slide from locking open on an empty mag.

By moving the slide release tab forward and placing it between the thumbs, this upgrade minimizes interference while maximizing control. It ensures consistent slide stop and release functions, whether you're reloading or clearing malfunctions. Made from high-grade stainless steel, it offers long-term durability and drop-in compatibility with Glock Gen 1–4 pistols. No permanent modifications required, just remove the OEM release and install.
