NDZ Performance stainless steel guide rods provide a decisive advantage for all Glock owners. Special features include a rigid stainless steel body that improves lock up by completely removing "guide rod flex". The hex screw removable tip allows the user to choose various spring weights that will calibrate the ammunition to their Glock. We recommend the use of Blue Loctite on the hex screw threads when switching out springs. This will provide a firm hold and still allow easy removal when necessary. Used by Law Enforcement and competitive shooters worldwide, will not chip or crack like the factory plastic guide rods are prone to do. Will not damage or wear your polymer frame and guaranteed to provide a lifetime of reliable service.

      It works!

      I got this to install my Glock 17 with a Gen 5 frame and Gen 3 slide. I needed the single spring set up with the Gen 5 length guide rod (oem gen 3 guide rod is too short with the Gen 5 barrel and locking block with a Gen 3 slide). I took off the Gen 4/5 washer/bull nose adapter and used a washer from my OEM gen 3 17 guide rod. 300 freedom seeds later and it performed flawlessly with no hiccups. Highly recommended for those who have the gen 3 slide on a gen 5 frame with the Gen 5 locking block and barrel!
